During the recently concluded 3-day National Labour Conference 2025, held under the theme “Shaping the Future of Work”, MediaMix Express was at the centre of one of the most dynamic storytelling moments. That is what we do best – with photos, videos and magazine publications.
As one of the official media production and content research partner for Sierra Leone’s first – but also the biggest massive assemblage of decision makers, employers, employees and young people from across diverse industries in the private and public sector – our team was tasked with distilling three days of policy dialogue, stakeholder insights, and visionary commitments into powerful visual and editorial content that reflected both the aspirations and realities of Sierra Leone’s labour ecosystem.
One of our standout contributions was the video feature and post-event publication coverage of the National Skills Exchange Dialogue, a pivotal session held on Day 2 of the conference. Our videography team not only captured the high-energy discussions between employers, unions, and youth leaders but also embedded real-time reflections into more than 15 digital snippets shared across multiple platforms.
In real time, we planned, shot, edited and shared at least 3 short videos on major high points right through the day and throughout the 3-day events at the Miatta Conference Centre in Freetown.
Because we stayed on top of production and publications both on and offline, we are able to allow Sierra Leoneans at home and in the diaspora to experience the urgency and vibrancy of national employment debates as they unfolded.
Our editorial team further produced detailed magazine features and visual narratives showcasing keynote moments, including Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh’s call for innovation in labour governance, and Labour Minister Mohamed Rahman Swaray’s vision for a digital labour registry.
These were not just documented—they were brought to life through high-impact layouts, infographics, and immersive design curated for accessibility and long-term policy reference.
At MediaMix Express, we don’t just cover events—we transform them into strategic knowledge products. From research-backed storytelling to world-class media production, our value lies in helping institutions like the Ministry of Labour turn policy into public engagement.
